📖 More about the product

What is Hojicha?
Hojicha is a traditional Japanese green tea that is created through a special roasting process. In contrast to classic green teas such as Sencha or Matcha, Hojicha is roasted after harvest, which gives it its characteristic brown color and pleasant smoky, nutty taste. The roasted aromas soften the bitter substances and ensure a gentle, sweet aftertaste.

Why CHAJU Hojicha?
The CHAJU Hojicha comes from Shizuoka - one of the most important tea regions in Japan - and is made from the Tsuyuhikari and Yabukita varieties. Traditional roasting creates a wholesome tea that not only tastes great, but is also particularly easy on the stomach. Thanks to its low caffeine content, it is ideal for tea lovers who want to avoid caffeine.

Healthy enjoyment
The tea is vegan, gluten-free, lactose-free, halal and low-carb - perfect for health-conscious consumers. It fits wonderfully into a balanced diet and is a refreshing companion both hot and cold.
